In The Somnambulists, Beloff focuses on the idea of "staging the unconscious,” presenting five different hysterical dramas.  These include “History of a Fixed Idea” and “A Modern Case of Possession” in which two patients of the famous French psycho-pathologist Pierre Janet, express their delusions in song. A talk with Beloff will open the exhibit on April 16.

Smith, along with 50 participants, creates a temporary public art project that takes as its inspiration the historic tradition of street peddling as an alternative economy and a form of sculptural drag.
